Demir Aytaç is the Global Business Alliance Executive of Migros Group, the leading retail group of Turkey.
Demir Aytaç completed his undergraduate studies at the Illinois University, Faculty of Business Administration, Marketing Department before going on to study a postgraduate degree at the same University in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
From the very beginning of his career, Aytaç worked under the umbrella of the largest holding companies in Turkey, Anadolu Holding and Koç Holding. Between the years 1995 and 2003 he worked as Assistant General Manager in KAV Dan??manl?k Pazarlama Tic. A.?., in KAV Ambalaj, and as General Manager in Düzey. In 2004, Aytaç was appointed as Assistant General Manager responsible for Sales operations in Migros. From 2008 to January 2019, he worked as CHRO responsible for Human Resources, Training and Industrial Relations.
During his top management, Aytaç widened the perspective and opened an era for HR approach in Migros, by using digital and mobile tools, increasing training quality and quantity, forming cooperation with universities and integrating employees to in-house social platforms.
For the last 5 years, he has also been leading the sustainability practices of Migros by carrying out his duty as the Head of Sustainability Committee. In February 2019, he took on his current position as the Global Business Alliance Executive.
He is married and has one child.
