Tidjane DEME is a General Partner at Partech, co-leading Partech Africa Fund, a multi-stage tech fund exclusively dedicated to African digital startups.
Prior to this, Tidjane Deme led for 7 years at Google as a senior manager in Africa. During his tenure he led YouTube in Africa, drove large infrastructure investments initiatives to make broadband access more accessible and worked on developing the African tech ecosystem across the region. Prior to Google, Tidjane has been a founder of a tech startup in SaaS Platforms for SMEs in Africa and a e-reputation engine in Europe. He also worked with Silicon Valley startup Cosine Communications and Paris-based Cap Gemini.
Tidjane who grew up in Senegal, attended Ecole Polytechnique (Paris), Imperial College (London) and ENSTA ParisTech (Paris).
